By embracing change and learning from my experiences, I’ve found a purpose I never anticipated—helping others discover their own sense of home. This journey of transformation and belonging has shaped my passion for guiding clients through one of life’s most meaningful transitions. When I moved to Virginia, it wasn’t by choice. After decades building a successful hospitality career running hotel spas, the pandemic abruptly changed everything, shuttering the spa I managed. For the first time in a long time, I asked myself: What do I really want to do?
Throughout my career, my instinct was always to move forward, tackling the next challenge. One of my earliest jobs, in my twenties, set the foundation for that mindset. Fresh out of college, I unexpectedly found myself responsible for nearly all aspects of a destination spa’s operations. Very quickly I took on the full weight of management—working seven days a week, living on-site, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Those demanding days at a young age taught me to embrace responsibility, thrive under pressure, and navigate the unexpected. That experience shaped my work ethic and passion for excellence, which defined every role that followed.
Those lessons became constants throughout my leadership career—from leading the large MGM Grand Spa in Las Vegas (my hometown) to opening a spa in Acapulco and later at the St. Regis in Mexico City. Eventually, I moved to New York City, where I continued my spa hospitality career and discovered a new passion for sailing with my cousin. We started a sailing nonprofit, and I stepped out of hospitality. Shortly afterward, an opportunity to help open a spa at MGM National Harbor brought me to the DMV, a place I had expected to leave after a year. Instead, I fell in love with the area’s vibrant community and diversity. Fostering dogs during this transitional time gave me a renewed sense of purpose and connection to the volunteer community. The pandemic’s upheaval forced me to step out of hospitality once again if I wanted to remain in the DMV. At my sister’s encouragement, I explored real estate—hoping it would allow me the option of staying in the DMV and wondering if it would be a fit. Curiosity led me to align with Keller Williams as a new agent due to their reputation for education, and here was where I discovered how transferable my hospitality skills were. Real estate clients, like hotel spa guests, seek someone they can trust—someone who anticipates their needs and ensures they feel cared for. Helping people buy or sell homes proved just as fulfilling as creating memorable spa experiences. The stakes were higher, but the principles of service, care, and attention to detail remained the same.
I have leaned through lessons from every chapter of my life. Las Vegas taught me strategic thinking and grace under pressure. Mexico strengthened my ability to connect with people from all backgrounds, and being fluent in Spanish allowed me to serve a broader community. Sailing taught me to navigate uncertainty and trust my instincts. These experiences converged in my real estate career, enabling me to build meaningful client relationships and a business I’m proud of. The DMV—a place I once viewed as temporary—has become my forever home. Here, I’ve not only found a career I love but also a renewed sense of purpose. Reflecting on this journey, I see how every step prepared me for where I am today.
Outside of work, I love gardening and am a Board Member at JPPG Community Gardens. I cherish time with my dog, Gracie, and volunteer with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. My faith has been a constant guide, and I am active at Celebration Church on the Guest Service Team. Giving back to the community and supporting causes close to my heart bring balance and joy to my life.
In my real estate practice, I create personalized experiences for every client. I understand that buying or selling a home is far more than a transaction—it’s a deeply personal life transition filled with dreams, aspirations, and sometimes uncertainty. My priority is to listen closely, going beyond surface needs like square footage or neighborhoods to truly understand my clients’ visions. I see myself as both a guide and advocate, offering expertise, perspective, and unwavering support at every step. My goal is to build relationships that extend well beyond “the closing”, remaining a resource long after settlement. From connecting clients to the community to being available for questions along the way, I’m committed to helping them settle into a place they can truly call home.
With a proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail, I work to anticipate challenges and resolve them before they arise. This creates a seamless, empowering journey for every client. At the end of the process, my goal is for clients to feel genuinely supported, thrilled with their decision, and confident they’re exactly where they belong with the results they wanted.
